Ability to Change volunteers use their skills, experience, energy and integrity and passion for making a difference to change people’s lives for the better.
They give up their time, energy and service to be there for people who find themselves in difficult situations, letting them know they have someone who is on their side during tough times.
Most people who use our service are vulnerable adults. Ability to Change promotes equality of opportunity for everyone and ensures we are safeguarding these vulnerable adults. Though a criminal record does not necessarily hinder your chances at becoming a volunteer with Ability to Change, most roles will require a DBS certificate.
We are looking for men and women, and you must be over 18 years of age.
Giving your time to volunteer for Ability to Change, changes lives, so please read on to find out more.
